On the 6th of March 2009 FNV Bondgenoten and ICEM hosted an International conference on decent work, with special focus on the implications of flexibility for workers and trade unions, and on how trade unions worldwide can work together to reduce the impact of flexibility trend

The conference saw delegates from around the world speak on union strategies towards flexibilisation and contract and agency labour, with practical examples from various sectors and specific multinational companies.

In light of the conference a magazine on decent work and flexibilisation around the world was published
